Chiropractic for Preconception, Pregnancy, and Postpartum

Couple

Pre-Conception

Chiropractic care can support your body while trying to conceive, especially when combined with healthy lifestyle habits. Diet, exercise, and stress management play a key role in fertility, and chiropractic helps reduce neuromuscular tension and stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system to create an optimal environment for pregnancy.

We recommend preparing your body for at least three months before trying to conceive, and combining care with functional medicine can enhance results, especially for those TTC over a year.

Pregnancy

Chiropractic care is a drug-free way to manage pregnancy-related pain. Hormonal changes and a growing baby can cause neck, shoulder, low back, hip, pelvic, and sciatic pain, as well as foot and ankle discomfort.

Dr. Michelle uses pregnancy-specific techniques and is ICPA Webster Certified. The Webster Technique helps optimize pelvic alignment, relieve tension in muscles, ligaments, and joints, and create space for baby—supporting comfort and promoting a head-down position later in pregnancy.

Postpartum

You did it, Mama! Birth is an incredible physical feat, and your body deserves extra care during recovery.

Postpartum chiropractic helps relieve aches and pain from birth, feedings, and holding your baby. Common concerns include headaches, neck, back, hip, elbow, and wrist pain. Moms also often report better sleep, improved relaxation, and overall comfort when well adjusted.
